Stacey and her family connected with Island Church Tierra Verde family in January of 2021, and the following September, she accepted the position of Administrative Assistant as well as the post of leading the Member Engagement ministry.
Prior to joining the staff at Island Church Tierra Verde, she enjoyed building relationships, while serving as the manager of Head Start and Early Head Start Preschool Center. She had a team of 15 teachers whom she coached, mentored, and supervised. They enjoyed monthly meetings, and that provided Stacey with getting to know each teacher personally, as they built a nurturing environment for the children and their families.
She embraces building relationships with people with passion and interest at Island Church Tierra Verde where she directs queries to the staff and administration. As well, she engages with members and assists them with opportunities to further their participation in the life of the church.
Stacey and her family enjoy living in St. Petersburg, where they have recently relocated from St. Louis, Missouri. Their children especially like going to the park, and the beach. Josie loves to announce they have arrived at the beach, the moment she exits the car, and Logan enjoys following in his parents’ footsteps with his love of sports! They are an active family who have quickly embraced and become involved in Island Church Tierra Verde and their new community.
