Jon Bullock

Director of Next Generation Ministries & Church Growth

In January of 2021, Jon Bullock joined The Island Chapel as the Director of Outreach and Next Generation.

Prior to joining the Island Chapel, Jon worked in marketing for just over a decade, while faithfully serving churches in various roles.  He has served in youth ministry, kids ministry, and small groups.  He helped start a group aimed to help local business owners connect with the church and find help to navigate their lives and businesses.  In addition, Jon and his wife have attended multiple training events, including the Family Life Development Center developed by Hope Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

In his role as the Director of Next Gen and Outreach, Jon leads the kids and youth ministries and focuses on how to help kids grow in their knowledge of the Bible, as well as develop character and increase their understanding of how the Bible applies to their daily lives. He also leads outreach at the church, with the goal of helping more people in our communities discover Christ.  Jon assists The Island Chapel in finding more ways to serve the community and its needs.

He is married to Kristen and they have two children, Claira, three years old, and Jack, one year old.  When Jon is not in the office, he can be found doing photography, drinking coffee, and playing at the beach with his kids.   Although he is a native Texan and a Dallas Cowboys and Rangers fan, he enjoys rooting for “Champa Bay.”
